2 ways

I wasnt able to find RHPop3Collector but I am still looking. Is there alot of configuration like opening up ports or is it pretty much plug and play?

Subject: 2 ways

there are 2 ways for retrieving pop-mails:

Let the users download it themselves by adding a connectiohn document (could be done via policy)
or
use a Pop3-Collector
I've been using the RHPop3Collector for years, but I couldn't find the link now. But there are a few for free:

http://www.softlookup.com/display.asp?id=912
or search google :-)

the advantage of a server task is that you'll see the errors.
one idea might be that the port is not specified correctly or is being blocked by a firewall. did you check that?
